What started as an ambient scribe has grown into a full suite delivered under each partner’s brand, and live in weeks; to restore the human connection in care.

Dr. Zaman Shah( MD, MBA)

Dr. Shah is a board-certified internist with 15+ years of U.S. clinical and leadership experience and a unique blend of formal training and real-world execution across medicine, business, and healthcare AI (MBA, UAB; Healthcare AI, Harvard). He has led hospital and practice teams, built clinical programs, and spent years navigating the same broken workflows every clinician knows. MEDWAY was born from his decade-long struggle witnessing the purpose of medicine (human connection, thoughtful decisions, and healing) get overshadowed by clicks, documentation burden, and disconnected systems.

He founded MEDWAY to restore presence and trust at the point of care, so physicians can be fully engaged, more informed, and supported by tools that genuinely lighten the load. MEDWAY makes EHRs smarter, effortless, and interoperable, elevating care quality & experience while improving physicians’ quality of life, as well as the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery.
